USCMO Decries Trump’s Unauthorized Declaration of War on Iran
(Washington, D.C., 6/22/2025) – The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), the nation’s umbrella group of Muslim associations, resoundingly castigates President Donald Trump for crumpling under the pressure of war criminal Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and bombing Iran yesterday at his reckless bidding.
We question Trump for letting himself be dragged by the nose into the savage agenda of a racist, rogue foreign government despite the urgent pleas and needs of the American people.
USCMO Secretary General Oussama Jammal said today in a statement:
“Forget the American people – even his most loyal supporters. It’s Israel first all the way with Trump,” said Jammal.
“Netanyahu was able to bring Trump down, to dictate to him the terms and policies that suit Netanyahu’s political survival instead of what truly makes America great, what lets America make decisions for itself based on its own best interests and critical needs.
“Trump yielded swiftly at the push of a well-worn button by a foreign nation’s sleazy, unregistered pressure lobby.
“Once again, we have a president who has let an unaccountable global political elite thrust the sons and daughters of this nation unwillingly, and without representation, into an almost certainly uncontrollable foreign war.
“Turns out, Trump as every politician he lambasted when he was swearing up and down that golden escalator to the American people that he would put them and this nation’s own dire needs first, that he was going to be the global peace and prosperity president.”
The Council strongly denounces Trump for being duped into committing the U.S. to fight a deeply misguided Israeli war of aggression that this villain government of Netanyahu started, knowing it could not finish it, only as a Machiavellian ruse to spill untold American blood and treasure for its own unquenchably rabid geopolitical ambitions.
The U.S. Congress and those true Americans around Trump must stop him from dragging this nation into Netanyahu’s lawless wars.
