Dr. Saima Azfar is the Chief Strategy Officer for ICNA Relief USA. She previously held the position of Midwest Regional Director for many years, beginning in July 2012. She is also the Director of ICNA Relief's national Back2School program, which has provided backpacks to 45,000 children and families.

She pursued her medical education at Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences and relocated to the United States in 1998. Her journey into community work began with voluntary work across various branches of ICNA (Islamic Circle of North America), and she earned her medical license in 2012, which deepened her commitment to ICNA programs and organizations. Her work focuses on fostering resilient communities, managing Midwest operations for ICNA Relief, and leading fundraising efforts. She is passionate about serving her community through initiatives like food pantries, transitional housing, and supporting families. 

Dr. Azfar's dedication has been recognized with the DuPage County Proclamation, which acknowledged her contributions to the community and recognized May as Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
