Dr. M. Yaqub Mirza is Chairman and CEO of Sterling Management Group and Chairman Emeritus of the Amana Mutual Funds Trust. A pioneer in Islamic finance and faith-based investment in the United States, he has spent more than four decades helping institutions develop ethical financial systems rooted in Islamic principles. Dr. Mirza serves as President and Trustee of the Center for Islam in the Contemporary World at Shenandoah University and as a member of the Council of Advisors for the Muslim Philanthropy Initiative at Indiana University. His books, Five Pillars of Prosperity and Heavenly Returns, articulate practical frameworks for aligning faith and wealth management. Dr. Mirza holds a Ph.D. in Physics and an M.A. in Teaching Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. Through his scholarship, leadership, and mentorship, he continues to inspire generations of Muslim professionals to integrate spirituality, integrity, and service into their financial and organizational pursuits.
