Nazma Khan, a TEDx speaker and global changemaker, has significantly reshaped perceptions of Muslims. Named one of the top 50 Influential Muslims in the Americas in 2023, 2024 and Best Islamic Leader in 2024, she founded the World Hijab Day Organization to dismantle discrimination against Muslim women. Inspired by her own experiences of bullying and harassment in NYC, especially after 9/11, Nazma founded World Hijab Day in 2013, now observed in over 150 countries. Recognized by multiple states, cities and countries, her work has been featured in major international media outlets. In 2021, she founded "International Muslim History Month" to celebrate global Muslim contributions.
