Sarah Ahmed is an Islamic scholar and author of (Reading the Quran Book, A Step-by-Step Guide to Qur’anic Fluency). She graduated with an alimiyyah degree from Dar ul-Uloom al Madania in New York. She has served as an Islamic Studies/ women’s fiqh instructor and Qur’an teacher for the past decade.

She is the co-director of Empowher, a community program that hosts workshops in the DFW community aimed at bringing together the expertise of a female family physician and a female Islamic scholar to bring a holistic approach when addressing matters about women's health and well-being of mind, body, and soul.

She is also the co-host of She Should Know Podcast, bringing the same content and energy from Empowher to a larger audience to benefit women around the world regarding their health and spiritual well-being.
