Sheikh Jafar Hawa serves as a full-time Imam at the Mosque Foundation, one of America's leading mosques. Before this role, he dedicated over ten years to the Orland Park Prayer Center, where he significantly impacted the local community. Raised with strong Islamic values, Sheikh Jafar pursued religious education from a young age. He is renowned for his deep understanding of the Qur'an and Hadith, drawing large congregations eager to hear his insights. At 17, he earned an Ijaza certification linked to the Prophet (ï·º), and by 21, he secured victory in a national Quran recitation competition. His commitment to Islamic knowledge culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Islamic Banking in 2014. Beyond his teaching responsibilities, Sheikh Jafar actively engages in community outreach and interfaith dialogues. He provides counseling, parenting guidance, and conducts pre-marriage and post-marriage seminars, showcasing his dedication to the Quran, Sunnah, and Islamic education.
