National Muslim Women Initiative
The United States Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) has undertaken a groundbreaking initiative to empower Muslim women across the nation through its National Muslim Women’s Initiative. This multifaceted program aims not only to promote leadership among Muslim women but also to foster a sense of unity, celebrate diversity, showcase their contributions and achievements, and provide a platform for training, workshops, local and national projects, and the annual Muslim Women’s Conference.

National Open Mosque Day
USCMO is honored to present National Open Mosque Day. Open Mosque day is a special event where mosques across the country open their doors to the wider community, inviting people of all faiths and backgrounds to explore and learn about Islam. It provides a unique opportunity for individuals to visit mosques, interact with Muslim community members, and gain insights into Islamic traditions, practices, and values.
One America
The One America Campaign, launched by the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), is a vital initiative aimed at countering divisive trends in American society. The campaign seeks to foster national unity by promoting understanding and inclusivity across different faith and cultural groups. Key initiatives include the Million Voters Registration Drive and National Open Mosque Day, which are designed to encourage civic participation and interfaith dialogue. By addressing growing Islamophobia and creating opportunities for meaningful interaction, the campaign strives to build bridges between American Muslims and other communities, emphasizing that national security and diversity are not mutually exclusive.
USCMO Ramadan Iftar
In the spirit of interfaith and community outreach, the USCMO annually organizes an Iftar dinner during the holy month of Ramadan. This special event takes place at the Marriott Crystal Gateway in Washington, DC, and extends invitations to elected officials, government representatives, foreign diplomats, interfaith leaders, and community figures.
