USCMO Welcomes Trump ‘Stop Bombing’ Gaza Call, But Israeli Kill, Cleanse & Starve Genocide Continues
(Washington, D.C., 10/5/2025) – The US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), America’s umbrella group of Muslim associations, expresses its support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s order to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his fascist Cabinet and military to ‘stop bombing’ Gaza after Palestinian acceptance of Trump’s ceasefire plan.
Yet, given the unbroken pattern of flagrant Israeli defiance of U.S. presidents for decades, Israeli refusal to honor its international agreements, and total Israeli loss of human decency, we urge President Trump to recognize he must quickly bring down the full weight of U.S. power on its recalcitrant, rogue client regime to force it to stop its genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza in order to give his own ceasefire plan a chance to work.
Trump has announced that the Israelis have stopped bombing Gaza, but this is not remotely true.
Netanyahu and the Israelis have, in fact, not only disobeyed Trump’s order to cease their Gaza strikes. Israeli bombing continues unabated, killing scores more starving, defenseless Palestinian children, women, and men by the hour since the president’s command.
Indeed, Netanyahu is belligerently indicating that his regime may now intensify its final solution of exterminating Gaza’s Palestinians.
Moreover, Trump must not only put teeth and consequences into his cease-and-desist bombing command to the Israelis. He must let the food flow into starving Gaza now.
The U.S. and world leaders must bring an immediate and decisive end to this monstrously unconscionable and illegal Israeli humanitarian blockade and criminally immoral weaponization of food, water, and medical assistance.
USCMO Secretary General Oussama Jammal said in a statement:
“It is widely known that Netanyahu has mutated into a political creature that cannot accept any semblance of peace – not in Palestine and not in the Middle East.
“He is an inveterate deceiver, the global poster-boy for manipulation.
“Netanyahu doesn’t give a solitary care about the Israeli or Palestinian captives. Netanyahu cares about Netanyahu. He knows he cannot survive a ceasefire. His Jewish ethno-nationalist supremacist regime will fall without Palestinian genocide, Arab subjugation, and endless regional expansion.
“The American people are now waking up to the utter implacability to peace and freedom that is the essence of this diseased, ethno-supremacist, secular-colonial, 19th Century ideology of Zionism, which the abandoned Palestinians have known and suffered under for a hundred years.
“Americans are only now beginning to realize the meaning of Zionist occupation here at home with our own government, society, culture, and increasingly curtailed basic freedoms.
“President Trump must act now not only to save the Gazans and Palestinians from genocide and oppression, but also to save U.S. sovereignty and independence from foreign control.
“Trump now has no choice but to compel this tiny U.S. client entity led by Netanyahu and his rebellious, warmongering supremacist regime to adhere to his presidential order to stop the genocide and assault on Gaza and come to heel.
“Trump has now publicly yanked Netanyahu’s leash to compel Israeli compliance with his command to end the Gaza holocaust. If this ends up once again – like with the June Iran bombing – with Netanyahu dragging Trump and the U.S. into obediently following him and his Zionist zealots down their current path of regional war and global catastrophe, America will lose much more than its global image.
“President Trump will have sacrificed the American people’s autonomy as a nation and our fundamental authority to govern ourselves as a sovereign state free of foreign dominance.
“Moreover, if Trump fails to strongly and strictly reign in Netanyahu and the Israeli zealots, the American people will no longer be able to understand the incomparable political, financial, and military life-support we give, at the price of great domestic pain, to this foreign Israeli entity as a covenant entitling the U.S. to certain influence and geo-political authority over our client.
“Rather, in humility, we will be forced to acknowledge that it is not a policy of America First our political leadership enforces, but one of Israel First that is forced upon them. And the blood, treasure, and diplomatic service we render as a nation to the Israelis is not assistance from us but a tribute we are paying to our overlords.”
USCMO calls urgently on President Trump to immediately compel the Israelis to stop their slaughter and starvation of the Palestinians of Gaza in all its forms; to enforce the total withdrawal of Israeli military and police forces from Gaza entirely, simultaneous with the formation of a Palestinian body of political self-governance; and, above all, to stop the starvation and annihilation of the Palestinians by guaranteeing the abundant surge of all forms of humanitarian aid into Gaza – without Israeli right of interdiction, prohibition, or oversight.
The stakes could not be higher for the people of Gaza and for the American people.
